Archery at Forest Adventure in the Forest of Dean
Take aim in the Forest of Dean with a fun and focused archery session for groups of all ages and abilities
Forest Adventure’s archery sessions use recurve bows to deliver a brilliant mix of skill, concentration and friendly competition.
Each session is led by a qualified Archery Instructor with a GB Archery award, who will guide participants through correct stance, aiming and shooting technique in a safe and supportive environment.
Archery Sessions
Participants usually begin shooting at a distance of around 10 metres, helping them build accuracy and confidence from their very first shots.
As skills develop, sessions can include scoring rounds, team challenges and fun competitive games, encouraging focus, communication and teamwork.
Who Is It For?
Archery is ideal for schools, youth groups, families, corporate events and team-building days. It can be booked as a standalone activity or combined with other outdoor experiences to create a full activity programme.
