Largest Ever Show Garden to Debut at RHS Badminton Flower Show 2026

Visitors to RHS Badminton Flower Show this July will be able to experience the largest Feature Garden ever created for an RHS Show, as award-winning designer Tom Stuart-Smith unveils The Julia Rausing Garden at the spectacular five-day event.

Taking place from Wednesday 8 to Sunday 12 July 2026, RHS Badminton Flower Show will once again transform the magnificent Badminton Estate into one of the UK's most inspiring celebrations of gardening, featuring spectacular show gardens, award-winning nurseries, expert talks, shopping, live entertainment and floral displays.

The Largest Ever RHS Show Garden

Fresh from winning a Gold medal at RHS Chelsea Flower Show, renowned garden designer Tom Stuart-Smith has created The Julia Rausing Garden — the largest Feature Garden ever seen at an RHS Show.

Covering an incredible 2,400 square metres — around the size of nine Wimbledon tennis courts — the immersive garden has been designed to reflect the beautiful pastoral landscape of the Badminton Estate. Visitors will be able to wander along meandering paths through richly planted borders, wildflower meadows, multi-stemmed trees and drought-tolerant perennial planting, with views stretching across the estate's lake towards the historic Badminton House.

The garden celebrates the life and philanthropic legacy of Julia Rausing, whose charitable foundation has supported projects across health, welfare, gardens and the arts.

Speaking about the project, Tom Stuart-Smith said the garden is both a celebration of Julia Rausing's generosity and an invitation for visitors to immerse themselves in a beautiful and welcoming landscape. Following the show, the herbaceous planting will be sold to raise funds for Horatio's Garden, continuing Julia Rausing's legacy of supporting worthwhile charitable causes.

Beautiful Gardens to Explore

Joining the impressive line-up of feature gardens is Perfume Pavilions, designed by Nicholson's Garden Design. This beautifully scented garden explores the relationship between plants and perfume, combining fragrant favourites including lavender, honeysuckle, daphne and phlox with colourful planting, aromatic herbs and gently rustling foliage to create a truly sensory experience.

The show will also feature an outstanding collection of award-winning show gardens, including Silo: All that comes in remains, designed by Abigail Stoyle, alongside inspirational displays, specialist growers and nurseries, gardening advice from leading experts, live talks, demonstrations, shopping and musical entertainment throughout the five-day event.
