National Waterways Museum

Located in a grade II listed warehouse, the National Waterways Museum Gloucester brings to life the fascinating story of 2,000 miles of waterways and Britain’s most inland port.  Visitors can climb aboard heritage boats in the Waterside Gallery, delve into the fascinating world of Gloucester’s Victorian docks and meet the people and wildlife of our wonderful waterways.  Plenty of hands on fun and interactive exhibits for all the family to enjoy. 

Educational workshops are available for schools and colleges. 

The National Waterways Museum has a well stocked shop and refreshment can be found in Coots, the adjoining café/ bar.
