61st Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition at Nature in Art
Celebrating over six decades of extraordinary nature photography, the internationally acclaimed Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition returns to Nature in Art for a limited spring season
The world’s finest nature images are revealed as Wildlife Photographer of the Year arrives once again at Nature in Art. Now in its sixty-first year, this prestigious exhibition brings together powerful and thought-provoking photographs that capture the beauty, drama and fragility of the natural world.
On loan from the Natural History Museum in London, the exhibition opens on 3 February and runs until 12 April. Visitors can expect a carefully curated selection of exceptional images taken by photographers from across the globe, each offering a unique insight into wildlife, landscapes and hidden animal behaviour.
The exhibition highlights photography’s ability to engage, inspire and inform. From spectacular species to intimate moments rarely witnessed, the images tell compelling stories that encourage a deeper connection with nature and a greater understanding of the need to protect our planet.
First launched in 1965, Wildlife Photographer of the Year is widely regarded as the most prestigious photography competition of its kind. Today, it attracts entries from 113 countries and territories, reflecting its global reach and enduring appeal. Each year’s winning images embark on an international tour, reaching well over a million visitors worldwide.
The sixty-second competition attracted more than 60,000 entries from photographers of all ages and experience levels. Images were judged anonymously at the Natural History Museum by an international panel of experts, assessing creativity, originality and technical excellence.
The winning photographs, including the prestigious Grand Title Award winners, were announced on 14 October 2025 during a high-profile awards ceremony hosted by wildlife presenters Chris Packham and Megan McCubbin.
