Roots + Seeds Café and Kitchen Opens at Gloucester Food Dock
Gloucester Food Dock has welcomed its twelfth independent business with the opening of Roots + Seeds Café and Kitchen on 8 April.
The new venue is run by co-owners Toby and Sam, who previously opened a Roots + Seeds restaurant in Cirencester. The Gloucester site offers breakfast, brunch, and lunch menus based on a field-to-fork approach.
Menu options include light lunches and made-to-order takeaway dishes, alongside brasserie-style meals such as beer battered fish and chips, the Roots + Seeds cheeseburger with skin-on fries, and sticky toffee pudding. A seasonal specials board will rotate throughout the year.
The business sources ingredients from its own kitchen garden and from suppliers within a 25-mile radius, focusing on local and seasonal produce.
