Buzzly Bee's Busy Trail at Painswick Rococo Garden

Saturday 23 – Sunday 31 May 2026

Buzzly Bee’s Busy Trail brings family fun to Rococo Garden this May half term, inviting children to explore the winding paths and hidden corners of the garden with Buzzly the Honey Bee.

As families make their way around the trail, little explorers can use their senses to experience nature up close, spot wildlife and interact with the sights, sounds and textures of the garden. Designed to encourage curiosity, creativity and a love for the outdoors, this hands-on adventure offers plenty to discover along the way.

There is even more to enjoy throughout the visit, with delicious light meals, homemade cakes and fresh coffee available on site. Four-legged friends are welcome too, and visitors can make the most of free parking or arrive easily by public transport.

Special activities add even more excitement during the week. Face painting takes place on Saturday 24 May at 10am and 1pm, giving children the chance to transform into their favourite creatures.

Bee Day on Friday 30 May offers an extra-special celebration of pollinators, with a live observation hive, bee quiz, colouring activities, beeswax candle rolling, mead and honey tasting, fascinating bee talks and a cosy reading corner. It is a lovely opportunity for children to learn more about bees and the important role they play in the natural world.

As the last surviving rococo garden in England designed purely for pleasure and entertainment, Rococo Garden provides the perfect setting for a memorable family day out. With rolling lawns, quirky follies and secret pathways to explore, every visit feels full of discovery, creativity and a little bit of magic.
