Quantum Theatre – Treasure Island 2026 comes to Cheltenham Lido on Tuesday 28 July 2026 for a thrilling evening of outdoor theatre in Gloucestershire.
It is pirate ships, pieces of eight and salty old sea dogs in Quantum Theatre’s swashbuckling adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic adventure, Treasure Island.
When young Jim Hawkins discovers a treasure map at the Admiral Benbow Inn, he is swept into the dangerous world of pirates and sets sail aboard the Hispaniola in search of hidden treasure. However, it soon becomes clear that he is not the only one who knows about the map.
Audiences can join Long John Silver and his motley crew for an action-packed adventure suitable for the whole family, filled with excitement, humour and high seas drama.
This is an outdoor production. Guests are encouraged to bring foldaway chairs or rugs, suitable clothing and a picnic. The performance includes a short interval. Only assistance dogs are permitted. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
