The Prince of Wales Stadium in Cheltenham is one of Gloucestershire’s leading athletics and outdoor sports venues, offering high-quality facilities for training, competitions and community events.

The stadium features a professional 400-metre running track with six lanes and an eight-lane sprint straight, alongside specialist field event facilities including long jump, triple jump, javelin, hammer throw, shot put and pole vault areas. Hurdles and steeplechase equipment are also available, making the venue suitable for athletics meetings and training sessions.

Popular with schools, sports clubs and event organisers, the stadium hosts everything from school sports days and regional competitions to charity events and fitness activities. A covered spectator stand with seating for approximately 490 visitors provides excellent viewing for events.

The main grass pitch benefits from a modern underground irrigation system and regular professional maintenance, ensuring a high-quality surface throughout the year.

Additional facilities include team changing rooms, meeting rooms and accessible access routes from the stadium car park, making the venue suitable for a wide range of sporting and community uses.
